This is an introductory course for people who do not have any experience of experiential training.
There are a lot of group activities that require participants to communicate, work as a team and solve problems together. The learning elements and experiences are repeated and reinforced throughout the course.
The course aims to provide participants with basic knowledge, skills and insight on problem solving, creativity, communication, independent and analytical thinking, goal setting, teamwork and team building, leadership, conflict resolution, as well as to strengthen their self esteem, self responsibility and self discipline. At the same time, to instill in them positive values and attitudes towards life, people, change, failure, stressful and difficult situations.

The courses at Outward Bound are goal oriented.
We are here to help you achieve the goals you set for yourself and help you discover just what goals you really should be setting.
Embarking on an Outward Bound course is a personal journey and one that may change your life.
At Outward Bound we strive to make every one of our Journeys exactly that - a journey... It's not about the vessel, the equipment or the means that it takes to complete the journey, but the value of what you learn and what you take away at the end of it.
On an OB Journey you might find yourself kayaking, rock climbing, rope climbing, abseiling, swimming, rafting or hiking, but we can't gaurantee you'll do any one, or all of these things on your course, but come prepared for anything...
