The teen years are a time of change and transition. Youth Foundation Course offers an opportunity for participants to explore their identities and their place in the world. They will learn about decision making and the effect their choices have on themselves and others around them. Personal confidence will be built to allow the young adults to face challenges and make positive life decisions.
This programme can be a progression from the Teens Foundation Course and will lead you to a new milestone. Even if you have not attended the course before, you will enjoy this course just as much.
The Wong Wan Chau Adventure Base and the scenic Plover Cover Country Park are ideal for participants to experience independent living.
You will face challenges such as trying new activities, meeting new people or perhaps making your first trip away from home.
While working in a close-knit group, you will share responsibility for the group’s well-being. This involves weighting the consequences of decisions, accepting responsibility for your actions, taking care of one another and the equipment, preparing meals, planning and organising daily activities, etc.
The cornerstones of the course are learning about yourself, becoming an active member of a team, and having a fun and challenging experience.
